Summary

The notification center tells you when something relevant to you happens in RECON; the release notes describe what is new in each version. In this lesson you open the bell, read a notification's details, manage the ones you have read and find the version history.

Key points

  • The bell. Open Notifications from the bell at the top right. The red number counts unread notifications (above nine it shows 9+).
  • What it tells you. Each notification says what happened, for example a probe back online, a schedule that has run or a completed scan.
  • Details. Click a notification to open its details: type, category, creation date and, when available, a View Details button that takes you straight to the right page.
  • Read and dismissed. On each notification, the check mark (Mark as read) marks it as read and the X (Dismiss Notification) dismisses it. Mark all as read marks them all in one click.
  • Full history. At the bottom, View All Notifications opens the full history in your Orizon profile, with search and filters by source, category and read status.
  • Release notes. Open them from the version badge next to the dashboard title (for example v3.3.0 BETA) or from the version at the bottom of the side menu. At the top you find the Current Version with its changes grouped by section; further down, Previous Versions holds the history: click a version to open its notes.
